Larry the Cable Guy was there! In place of the usual red carpet, stars of the movie Cars 2 walked down a "road" carpet--a two-lane black carpet complete with white-striped center line--at the movie's premiere on Saturday night in Hollywood, Calif. The 2012 Mercedes CL Grand Edition has been released with designo extras, AMG bits and new alloys. If we didn’t already know the current Mercedes S Class was coming to the end of its shelf life, the launch of the Mercedes S Class Grand Edition last summer confirmed it. And just to make sure we’re in no doubt, Mercedes has now launched a Grand Edition of the S Class Coupe with AMG extras, designo bits inside and out and new alloys, to finally consign the current S Class saloon and coupe to history – the Mercedes CL Grand Edition.
Need to report a POTHOLE? Government-backed App makes it easy
There can’t be many motorists in the UK who haven’t fallen foul of our pitted and potholed roads (one of the Cars UK team had a £1500 suspension re-build bill last year), so anything we can do to point out what needs doing is a bonus. So the news that the government is backing an App to report potholes in the UK to the tune of £30,000 is good news (assuming the reported potholes get acted on).
